And now, for something completely different.
But first, here’s what we did last week:
Some of us were travelling, but some stayed home and went back to school. We had an excellent view of downtown, from upon high. The beautiful hillside Regal Road schoolyard provided the view, and some of the artwork, from the south shore of what was once the ancient Lake Iroquois. The rest is in the photos. It was an interesting grey day, and we managed 11 kilometers! Very nice work!

On our way back “downhill,” we chose a few streets we hadn’t yet visited, and enjoyed a meandering walk home.
Absent friends, we miss you! See you soon!
This Sunday, January 31, 2016:
Meet us at the Y at 9:00 a.m. It’s time to see the city from another direction. We’ll take transit, at least one way, so please bring return TTC fare. We’re heading by subway, across the viaduct, to Broadview Park East, where we can look back at the downtown skyline from a perspective that many of us (west-enders!) rarely see. The plan is to walk back, rain or shine. We shall meander a bit, to add some extra mileage, because Broadview isn’t really as far away as it seems! So… do you want to walk through Riverdale Farm, too? What a great idea!
Coming right up:
More great walks. An interesting beach. But not for swimming. Maybe some ice. But not in beverages. Hmmmmm, do these ideas sound familiar?
Are you reading about our club for the first time?
Welcome. You really should walk with us! See you in the morning!
